Manuka is well known for the honey produced from its flowers. The manuka leaf itself is also an important medicine in Rongoa - traditional Maori medicine.

The leaf is rich in tannins and essential oil and is considered to be an astringent and hold anti-spasmodic properties. Manuka is known to help digestion.

Sourced from private land in the Ruapehu, Rhayne's harvesters are respectful of sustainability and regeneration.
